The purpose of the prayer shawl ministry is to create, by knitting or crochet, shawls that can be given to people in need of them.  For example, people undergoing medical procedures, those in hospice, as a comfort at a time of loss or in times of stress, during bereavement, for prayer or meditation etc.

We will meet together once a month (the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm) to share a prayer as we work and continue with our works at home.

Finished shawls will be blessed and passed on to those in need.
